GUARDIANS.

Guardians are spirits who can take on the form of animals in order to blend in with society while keeping an eye on their bonded Human. They typically look like Kemonomimi in their true forms, always wielding a pair of ears and tail to their corresponding animal. They are capable of obviously changing their forms, making use of their animal abilities, and communicate telepathically with their human as well as absorb their pain. They come in varying species and all have their own strengths and weaknesses. However unlike the other groups, they rarely ever gather together and don't see other's of their species often. That's not to say they aren't social but merely are too busy watching and protecting to just leisurely search out others. Not to mention, some sub-species don't get along (Inumimi and Nekomimi for example). The following are the current sub-species we allow.



INUMIMI - These guardians are very dog-like in nature. Typically friendly and the most loyal of their kind, they often bond very easily with their human, and are often closer to them than the other's. They are usually pretty easy going and enjoy having fun as well as making sure to keep their human entertained and happy. They can run very fast and have a very keen sense of hearing and smell. Their strength lies in tracking and physical combat.

NEKOMIMI - Very flexible and durable, much like their feline counterparts, these Guardians can be both gentle and tough when it comes to their humans. Much like cats though, they like to laze around for the most part, typically found protecting them from afar. They don't warm up to humans quite as easily as the Inumimi however and bonding with them can be a gamble. They are known for their fast reflexes and quick wit. Their strength lies in their durability and fierceness.

USAGIMIMI - The rabbits. Perhaps the most gentle of the Guardians. They shouldn't be underestimated though and can prove just as powerful as the rest. They tend to be quiet for the most part and are the rarest of the Guardians. Much like the Nekomimi, they have a hard time warming up to humans. But once they trust them, their bond is hard to break. They are extremely fast and have a quick wit. As expected, their strength lies in their agility and overall speed.

NEZUMIMI - The Nezumimi may be even more rare than the Usagimimi. These mouse-like Guardians are usually quite small compared to the rest and rather quiet for the most part and can even be quite timid, the hardest of the bunch to bond with. They are very clever though as well as flexible, perhaps the smartest of them all. They can adapt well and can be very stealthy do to their ability to blend in as well as hide. And with their intelligence they can almost always find a way out of a problem and keep their human safe. Their strength lies in their intelligence and flexibility.
