OBAKE.

Obake and bakemono are a class of yokai, preternatural creatures in Japanese folklore. Most common in the past, these creatures are known to bring a bunch of things to mortal humans. Fear, luck, death. Whatever the case, they were certainly respected and feared. Or the were anyway. But over the years they have simply become ghost stories, lurking in the shadows and affecting the modern world secretly. Today they are still around, causing trouble and mischief for the humans. But unfortunately they have new things to challenge them. Both the Guardians who make it their purpose to protect their humans from them and the Hunters who wish to destroy them. The Obake, much like the Guardians, have their own humanoid forms that they may use to blend in with society. During the night however, they roam freely and cause trouble. They are quite popular here at Amakuji, their stories known all around town and told to tourists but they are pretty safe as long as they don't get spotted by any Hunters. They are often found in the Abandoned Manor or Bakemono Forest.
