PERSONALITY
Never judge a book by it's cover. The most perfect saying to describe this Guardian.
Appearance wise, he comes off as quiet, cold, and aloof, keeping to himself for the most part and usually pushing those who get too close away. He can be quite rude as well, saying hurtful things without a second thought and even attacking if he has to. So in regards to both Human and Guardian alike, his presence isn't very much appreciated and the feeling seems mutual. So whether it be scaring other's away or being chased out of town by the humans for being that aggressive stray, he's become quite the loner, greeting others with a snarl to show he isn't interested in company. So even the Guardians don't typically like him, viewing him as a menace and ultimately giving their kind a bad name.
However, if one were to try and break past that rough outer shell of his, they might find the side of him he's been trying to hide away from everyone all along. The fact of the matter is, he isn't as bad of a guy as he's made himself out to be. Quite the opposite really. He can be pretty friendly and caring and was once known to be quite protective and loyal. He'd always be willing to help out even at his own expense and would readily suffer in order to save someone else. But all that changed whenever an accident occurred, leaving the now broken Inumimi today. After losing his old human to an accident on his part, he doesn't have the confidence that he can protect someone ever again. It is for this reason he hasn't bonded with another human since the accident.
However, unbeknownst to everyone else, he's actually been protecting the town still, unable to ignore his natural Guardianship. He tries his best to keep the Obake out of the town and keep the humans safe, even though he is unappreciated for it. He's fine with it though. In his opinion, he doesn't deserve it. Nor does he deserve any companionship because he's convinced he'll only hurt them in the end.

EXTRAS
Hiroshi, like his Guardian kind, can take on the form of an animal. The Inumimi, in his feral form, appears to be a German Shepherd. His most noticeable feature that sets him appart from other regular dogs would perhaps be his blue eyes. Of course you can't ever really get that close anyway to actually see them unless you are lucky. In his Kemonomimi form he stands at 5'10" with an athletic build. He has brown hair styled in a messy fashion which barely hides the pair of Shepherd ears on top of his head. Fashion sense, a lot of darks. He's mostly seen wearing his leather jacket though with the fur trim around the collar. It's rare to see him in this form though as he prefers the safety of remaining a dog for the most part. It's easier to pass with the ears and tail that way.
As far as protecting goes, he's a pretty fierce fighter who shows no mercy. However being quite stubborn and not one to think before acting, he's known to be way too risky and wont back down even if he's just killing himself in the process. He also has a hard time just letting Obake go. And given his ability to track down people with his sense of hearing and smell, it's not unlikely that he'll chase them down and make sure they can't try to cause harm again. This of course can get him into a lot of trouble.
