Takeo is as capricious as any cat, demanding attention and affection in one instant and turning up his tail in a huff the next. For him, friendships are too much work to maintain for long periods of time and he greatly prefers to slip in and out of people’s lives as opposed to being a constant presence. But that in and of itself can be a good thing if an individuals finds themselves on this unlikely part of the relationship wheel with this Obake, for his mischief will certainly affect any ally he might have. On his end he will be faithful to a point. He will certainly not go out of his way to rescue anyone from danger, heroics aren’t his thing but he is more forthcoming with information and valuable advice on how to escape the dangers before they come. | | [atrb=vAlign,top] ENEMIES | [atrb=vAlign,top] Having skirted the continent of Japan for a century, causing mischief and spreading disharmony, this monster cat isn’t unfamiliar to those who want to tan his hide. And he supposed they all have good reasons for doing so. He’s prone to setting pranks for the unwary, misleading the witless and even devouring humankind when the mood strikes him. It is as much in his nature to cause strife as it is to be pleasant and amiable but he has more of a propensity to do harm than he does good to those he encounters. That said, the race of the individual hardly matters. Obake, Guardian, human, they’re all on his list of people to pester and poke at for fun reactions. Likewise he isn’t above dislike or outright hatred himself. There is a natural disdain for guardians as they like to ruin his fun but if you happen to be a dog he’s grandly offended by your existence and between pulling their tails and fleeing for his life, he’s going to make his discontent known. | | [atrb=vAlign,top] LOVERS | [atrb=vAlign,top] Takeo does not attach himself to people readily enough to feel inclined to have any romantic feelings toward them and neither is he particularly attracted to any. Like any long-lived cat he’s had his share of kittens and the act has all but lost its novelty now that he’s reached this ripe old age. His disinclination to share his feelings and otherwise indifference to knowing the emotions of others, make it difficult for connections to be made. However, when he finds someone he fancies he is very sure of himself and hardly shy about what he wants from them. It’s keeping him in that state that presents the most problem. He doesn’t simply settle’ Takeo will immerse himself in someone’s life for only so long before disappearing again. He may come back, he may not. It’s a cat thing. | | [atrb=vAlign,top] OTHERS | [atrb=vAlign,top] Well, Takeo is a very old, old kitty cat, there’s bound to be a few things that could fit in this category. Being that he is the feline equivalent to a poltergeist, there may be a few families that he’s haunted over the years, disturbed households or possibly living family members of people he has eaten in the past. As for hunters, there should be a few still alive or those who’ve passed the torch to the next generation, tearing their hair out from being fooled by this wily little monster. He also works at a sushi bar as a chef so acquaintances and regulars of the restaurant would also be acceptable. Other than that feel free to suggest any plot ideas you might come up with. |

So basically, Mikazuki has just moved into town and as the new kid on the block, she'll be spending the first few days getting acquainted with the locals. This of course would include Mr. Sushi Chef over here. And depending on how the initial visit goes, Mikazuki may just end up becoming a regular customer there. She's lonely without her friends you see, and because of that she's likely to latch on to anyone who even remotely shows her a hint of kindness. That, and also because she gets attached to others way too easily.
Setting aside the fact that she's fresh meat (as Hiro dubs her), Mikazuki also has the tendency to attract bad luck and mischief in general. Back when she lived in the city, she got into trouble almost every other day. The weight of the situation may vary from her getting lost to being caught in the middle of a gang war. But yes, chaos is drawn to her like flies to honey. So, maybe Takeo could be the cause of some of her misfortune here in Amakuji? XD

| [atrb=width,400,true][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,10,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true] takeo & mikazuki Ah~ yes, the lovely Akira-san has to visit his place of business so that they can become more acquainted with each other. Takeo will happily play of her ignorance and trust, become her ‘friend’ and enjoy the benefits of the occasional hug and silly chit chat girls are prone to engaging in. Inwardly he might call her all kinds of annoying but while he’s in human form she will be more or less safe.
If he happens across her as a cat, well, beware of falling flower pots. If her past bad luck is something that she tells him about he’ll jump at the chance to make her think it’s manifested and following her. Just by sitting on her window sill or appearing on a wall and meowing to get her attention. Anything to get her anxiety level running high. And when he’s back in human for he’ll give her hugs and pats and tell her not to be silly.

dlkfsdjfi! I love this plot so much like you wouldn’t believe~! Yes, yes, yes, and yes! I approve of all of it! Falling flower pots included. XD
Mikazuki would be so ecstatic about her new friend. And being the type of person she is, the girl would even make it a routine to stop by for quick chat. The girl’s pretty oblivious when it comes to certain things, and when it comes to mind games… She’s completely out of her depth there, and wouldn’t think anything was wrong even if Takeo were to act suspiciously. Similarly, the connection between the black cat and her increasing bad luck probably wouldn’t even occur to her until a lot later. It’s more likely that she’d think the cat was a common stray. And if he shows up at her home often enough, the girl would even start leaving out food for the kitty. Yeap. She’s pretty much a lost cause. XD
